TL;DR
Automation & Reliability Engineer STAFF (Manufacturing Equipment Reliability): Improving and sustaining manufacturing equipment performance across multiple product platforms with an accent on OEE, asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and root cause analysis. Focus on deploying equipment replacement plans, leading FRACAS and risk assessments, supporting new equipment commissioning and validation, and driving continuous improvement.
Location: Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite

What you will do
- Monitor equipment OEE and implement continuous improvement action plans to improve availability and reduce downtime.
- Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
- Lead root cause analysis, FRACAS investigations, risk assessments, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage equipment lifecycle activities, including a five-year replacement plan and capital equipment projects.
- Support the design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Manage the maintenance system, including technical support, training, data reviews, user management, and access levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related science.
- Experience with TPM, reliability assessment tools such as FRACAS and risk analysis, and maintenance management systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar CMMS platforms.
- Experience developing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies and improving OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Experience leading RCA investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Experience with capital equipment replacement, long-term asset management, equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation.
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
