What you will do
- Identify, recommend, and implement repairs for stationary and rotating equipment in collaboration with manufacturers, OEMs, and external repair shops.
- Conduct predictive maintenance on production equipment and develop equipment specifications and repair procedures for critical applications.
- Assist with new equipment installation, product and process runs, and related documentation.
- Work with maintenance supervisors, managers, and planners to identify trends and develop inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Review mechanical and electrical specifications and monitor maintenance projects and external contractors according to site regulations.
- Support the Responsible Care Management System and applicable RC14001 technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of rotating equipment design and repair.
- Knowledge of welding processes, equipment lubrication, and ASME codes.
- Knowledge of confined-space entry, lockout/tag-out, and hot-work permitting.
