Electrical Construction - Project Assistant

Location: Onsite in Santa Fe Springs, California, United States

Salary: $27.00–$35.00 per hour, paid weekly and based on experience.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager and project team on active electrical construction projects.
• Manage project documents, drawings, RFI logs, permits, submittals, shop drawings, and project reports.
• Track purchase orders, vendors, releases, materials, lighting fixtures, controls, and switchgear.
• Coordinate with field foremen, lighting, and pre-fabrication departments to provide information and maintain tracking records.
• Summarize time-and-material paperwork, review schedules, and support project reviews.
• Prepare job closeouts and operations and maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Ability to learn and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Strong reasoning, organization, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available.
