Finance Business Partner - Tech Development and Investments (m/f/d)

Location: Cologne, Germany; full-time position. Work from home may be arranged individually when office presence is not required, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic finance partner to the CIO and senior technology leadership.
• Provide financial guidance for IT strategy and data-driven investment decisions.
• Develop investment prioritization and capital allocation frameworks.
• Lead and support business cases for high-impact technology initiatives.
• Own technology cost and investment reporting across the function.
• Monitor budgets and investment performance while ensuring transparent, IFRS-compliant reporting.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in controlling, finance, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset.
• Affinity with digital business models or experience in e-commerce.
• Confident communication with senior stakeholders across functions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, especially CapEx and OpEx distinctions.
