Finance Associate (EdTech)

hirify.global is a fast-growing Series A/B EdTech startup building a modern, AI-enhanced finance function.

What you will do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Contribute to accurate financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with operational controlling, including budget planning, forecasting, and liquidity tracking.
• Build monthly reports and translate data into clear, decision-ready analysis.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI tools and low-code platforms.
• Prepare decision briefs and support cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Berlin, Germany (On-site role).
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.
• Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (HGB or IFRS preferred).
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial close processes or budgeting.
