Senior Modern Workplace Engineer (Microsoft Intune)

Location: Sevenum, Netherlands; individual work-from-home arrangements may be available, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Own the Modern Workplace roadmap and define priorities for workplace transformation.
• Lead the transition from SCCM to Microsoft Intune, establishing device management standards and governance.
• Manage endpoint strategy across Windows and macOS, including software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycles.
• Drive adoption and optimization of Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Build automation and continuous improvement initiatives with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Provide best-practice guidance to the wider IT Service team while working closely with the Associate Director IT Service.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and experience implementing or managing modern endpoint environments.
• Knowledge of both legacy and modern workplace technologies, including SCCM, cloud-based device management, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Windows and macOS endpoint environments, software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle strategies.
• Ability to build and improve services, share knowledge, and influence workplace strategy.
