Junior IT Field Service Engineer

Location: Maastricht, Netherlands, with monthly travel required to Bruges, Cologne, and Amsterdam

hirify.global TMFI is a growing Dutch forensic services organization within the international hirify.global network, supporting the Dutch criminal justice system through forensic laboratory and managed IT services.

What you will do

• Provide customer-focused onsite IT support for laboratory staff and business users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and endpoint issues in line with service-level agreements.
• Install, configure, maintain, replace, and onboard desktops, laptops, peripherals, and specialist laboratory devices.
• Support user accounts, access requests, site-level network tasks, IT rollouts, refresh programmes, and operational changes.
• Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle and support security, data protection, compliance, and audit activities.
• Participate in the infrastructure on-call rota, including emergency onsite or remote support for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT field service, desktop support, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Intune, SCCM, and laptop imaging.
• Familiarity with IT service management practices such as ITIL.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch proficiency is preferred.
• Valid Dutch driving license required; visa sponsorship is not available.
