Location: Mt. Vernon, Indiana, United States. On-site terminal work with rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends. On-call personnel must remain within approximately 30–45 minutes of the facility.

What you will do

• Load, unload, and store products according to established operating procedures.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, buildings, grounds, and terminal areas, including mechanical maintenance and recordkeeping.
• Apply refrigeration-system principles, test and record samples, and monitor gauges.
• Coordinate with emergency-response personnel and perform hazardous-material response and remediation for anhydrous ammonia spills.
• Support operator training, capital and maintenance projects, emergency situations at other facilities, and facility management when required.
• Work in a continuous operating environment involving hazardous chemicals, extreme weather, uneven surfaces, heights, and physically demanding emergency-response activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of college, military or technical training, or related work experience.
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively.
• Refrigeration knowledge appropriate to the position level and basic computer skills for data entry and information retrieval.
• English proficiency sufficient to read, write, communicate, and comprehend operating and safety information.
• HAZMAT certification is required after employment.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and remain on call within approximately 30–45 minutes of the facility.
