Senior Data Architect (Azure), Brazil

What you will do

• Define and communicate the long-term data architecture vision in alignment with business goals.
• Lead the migration of data pipelines to Microsoft Fabric and ensure reliable promotion to the curated golden layer.
• Design and evolve scalable, performant, and cost-efficient data lake and Delta Lake architectures on Azure.
• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and standards while establishing data management and governance practices.
• Guide development and architecture teams through complex technical decisions, migrations, and implementation challenges.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology partners, and suppliers, and represent data architecture in strategic forums.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency at C1 or above for direct interaction with international stakeholders.
• Extensive hands-on experience with data platform architecture, data modeling, and ELT processes at scale.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience designing and implementing data lakes and Delta Lake-based architectures.
• Experience guiding teams through complex technology migrations and architectural changes.
• Strong mentoring, technical leadership, and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications related to data platform architecture or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience defining data governance frameworks and data security compliance standards.
• Experience partnering with technology vendors and strategic suppliers.
• Experience presenting technical or architectural strategy in cross-functional or executive forums.
