AI / Cloud Architect (AI and Cloud)

Location: EMEA Headquarters in Poing near Munich, Germany; hybrid working model with approximately one office day per week

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI-driven automation opportunities across the EMEA organization.
• Adapt global AI products from the internal AI Center of Excellence to regional business requirements.
• Assess feasibility through ROI modeling, data availability analysis, risk evaluation, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions with business, product, data engineering, and technology stakeholders.
• Guide strategic data products through design, development, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Shape cloud, data, and AI architecture while establishing governance for responsible and secure adoption.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification; equivalent professional experience is accepted.
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud data architectures and enterprise technology landscapes.
• Experience with ROI analysis, prioritization, business value assessment, and benefits tracking.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data, compute, and networking services.
• Experience designing hybrid network architectures and cloud landing zones, with a solid understanding of network technologies.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-based automation, generative AI, or AI platforms.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and architectures.
