Registered Nurse - Nashua Center for Internal Medicine - Per Diem - Foundation Medical Partners

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; per diem day shift in an outpatient internal medicine setting.

What you will do

• Deliver professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in in-person, telephone, and telehealth encounters.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Educate patients about medications, disease management, wellness, and preventive care.
• Support examinations, procedures, and treatments; administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments.
• Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, pre-visit planning, care-gap identification, and EMR documentation.
• Delegate tasks, mentor clinical staff, respond to urgent situations, and maintain HIPAA, safety, and infection-control standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in an applicable state, including New Hampshire, a Nurse Licensure Compact state, or Massachusetts, or eligibility for licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• At least one year of professional nursing experience preferred; ambulatory care experience is an advantage.
• Strong clinical knowledge, critical-thinking, assessment, communication, teamwork, and patient-engagement skills.
• Experience with EMR systems and standard office technology, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• BSN degree.
• Ambulatory care experience.
• Ambulatory Care Nursing certification (RN-BC) or another specialty certification.
