PRN Medical Assistant

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; onsite clinic role

Pay range: $23.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support primary care physicians and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
• Escort patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Collect health information, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Perform scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist coordination, and other front-desk duties.
• Document patient information, process test results, support care-gap outreach, and communicate results as directed.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Primary care experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration.
