Senior Android Developer (Kotlin)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship production Android features in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose and XML Views.
• Own features end to end, including architecture decisions, implementation, documentation, and production release.
• Build and maintain Android CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Fastlane, or Bitrise, and manage Google Play signing, release tracks, and Play Console workflows.
• Implement mobile security measures including Android Keystore, EncryptedSharedPreferences, biometric authentication, root detection, and SSL or certificate pinning.
• Configure and maintain Jetpack components such as ViewModel, StateFlow, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
• Collaborate with Backend, Product, Design, and QA in planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and roadmap work.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Android development using idiomatic Kotlin.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose, XML/View systems, Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Strong understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture, including trade-offs compared with MVI.
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, interceptors, token refresh, dependency injection with Hilt or Dagger, and memory leak troubleshooting.
• Production experience with Android security, CI/CD pipelines, Google Play lifecycle management, JUnit, and MockK.
• English at B2+ level is required for pull requests, tickets, and asynchronous communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, crypto, payments, or banking Android applications.
• KYC or payment SDK integrations, including Sumsub, Onfido, Checkout.com, or Stripe.
• Experience with WebSocket or SSE, Firebase, multi-module architecture, Android Studio Profiler, KMM, or static analysis tools.
• Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
