Senior Advisor, Drug Pipeline Strategy - Evernorth (Healthcare Strategy)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States

Annual salary: USD 119,600–199,300, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Develop and execute clinical strategies across multiple therapeutic areas to support market differentiation, adoption, and growth.
• Review drug pipelines, emerging healthcare trends, regulatory activity, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Evaluate internal clinical strategies and use data and financial modeling to assess the impact of strategy and contract changes.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, operations, analytics, actuarial, finance, and negotiation teams on formulary and trend solutions.
• Monitor implemented strategies, establish team SOPs and playbooks, and develop strategic updates for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, MHA, PharmD, or other advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of healthcare strategy experience, including pharmaceutical contracting, analytics, formulary development, product development, or business development.
• Experience with financial modeling tools and interpreting modeling results to evaluate contract changes.
• Expertise in clinical strategy and healthcare innovation, with knowledge of the PBM, managed care, and broader healthcare industries.
• Ability to work with complex datasets and queries, manage multiple parallel projects, and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
• If the degree is in Pharmacy, an active pharmacist license in good standing is required.
