Program Manager (Land)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The role requires regular work at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices, as well as travel dictated by job requirements.

Salary: USD $152,297.60–$170,000 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of land-related projects, project teams, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate multiple project managers and maintain consistent communication across stakeholders and projects.
• Assess risks, identify negative trends, and implement mitigation, corrective action, and scope-change plans.
• Supervise land staff across surveying, title, acquisition, documentation, administration, permitting, and construction support.
• Report progress to clients through daily, weekly, and monthly status reports and resolve issues affecting completion.
• Assign, coach, evaluate, and release personnel while approving time and expenses.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying climates, walk long distances over varying terrain, lift or move up to 35 pounds, and travel as required.
• Most activities require work at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices.
