Supply Chain Coordinator (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Expedite critical material shortages and coordinate with suppliers, buyers, logistics providers, planning, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor material constraints, production priorities, supplier commitments, inventory positions, shortage reports, and critical-part lists.
• Develop recovery plans for material gaps and supply interruptions while providing timely updates and escalating risks.
• Lead material risk reviews, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions to eliminate recurring shortages.
• Support inventory transactions, material movement, cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and inventory health initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, planning accuracy, material flow, supplier performance, lean manufacturing, and supply chain resilience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of material planning, purchasing, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive issue resolution.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk, work at a computer, and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Experience with manufacturing material flow, inventory planning, shortage management, or supplier performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification and lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
