TL;DR
Logistics Coordinator I (Aerospace): Coordinating line-side material flow and logistics service provider interfaces for aircraft final assembly with an accent on supply chain continuity, missing-parts management, and material quality. Focus on identifying disruptions, executing part reassignments, managing rework and scrap processes, and collaborating across production, engineering, supply chain, and information systems.

Location: On-site in Mobile Area, Alabama, United States, at an active commercial aircraft final assembly line and shop floor

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

  • Coordinate and expedite line-side material flow while tracking deliveries to protect the production schedule.
  • Identify supply chain disruptions and manage missing-parts lists with Production and the FAL Hamburg Back Office.
  • Prioritize urgent reorders for non-conforming materials and execute part reassignments.
  • Oversee scrap, returns, rework, and concession-part processes.
  • Act as the focal point for Logistics Service Providers and third-party on-site support partners.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Information Systems while maintaining hirify.global quality and health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent education and experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, physical logistics, or material management; aviation manufacturing, assembly, or MRO experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of physical logistics processes, logistics IT tools, Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and quality or environmental standards such as ISO 14001.
  • Ability to identify root causes of supply chain disruptions, evaluate complex situations, and implement stable operational solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and experience collaborating in multicultural teams.
  • Current U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
