Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States; the role includes campus-based advising, community college visits, recruitment events, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel.

Salary: Up to $3,750 per month, approximately $45,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Recruit, counsel, and advise prospective transfer students and their families on admissions, financial aid, scholarships, housing, academic programs, and student services.
  • Plan and conduct community college visits, campus tours, college fairs, information sessions, workshops, and other recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate transfer recruitment and admissions programs, including outreach calendars, articulation evaluations, and bridge agreements with community colleges.
  • Serve as a recruitment and outreach contact for prospective graduate students throughout the admissions process.
  • Collaborate with academic programs and marketing staff to develop prospect pools, recruitment strategies, outreach campaigns, and digital and print materials.
  • Analyze recruitment event data, prepare weekly enrollment reports, create CRM queries, and support students’ transition from admission to matriculation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three years of related recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management experience in a college, university, or comparable setting; a master’s degree plus one year of related experience may substitute.
  • Knowledge of transfer and/or graduate admissions processes, requirements, policies, and university operations.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment and work irregular hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, advise prospective students confidentially, and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in graduate admissions, recruitment, or student life in a university setting.
  • Advanced experience with admissions CRM systems such as Slate and the Banner Student Information System.
  • Experience preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries with complex information.
