Thoracic Oncologist (Medical Oncology)

Location: Tufts Medical Center and hirify.global Health System locations in Massachusetts, including community offices in Stoneham, Framingham, and Lowell

Salary: $255,670–$331,507 annually, plus incentive compensation based on clinical productivity.

What you will do

• Lead the Medical Oncology component of the multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Program.
• Participate in the weekly lung cancer-specific multidisciplinary tumor board.
• Provide patient care across Tufts Medical Center and the hirify.global Health System, including community offices.
• Share inpatient oncology and consult service coverage, including night and weekend coverage with fellows providing primary support.
• Support program growth, community engagement, clinical research, teaching, and fellowship mentoring.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
• Experience with chemotherapeutic, targeted biologic, and immunotherapeutic agents.
• Ability to provide oncology patient care and participate in inpatient, consult, night, and weekend coverage.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration, oncology education, and excellence in patient care.

Nice to have

• Experience with industry-sponsored phase 1 research.
• Clinical trial implementation and research experience.
