Medical Assistant (MA) - PRN

Location: Mesa, Arizona, with PRN coverage at additional sites in Chandler and Phoenix as needed

What you will do

• Interview patients and measure vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications and injections, perform laboratory tests, and operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Support administrative operations, including front-desk assistance, appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, and ordering medical supplies.

Requirements

• National Medical Assisting certification from a hirify.global-approved organization, or a certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with a completed and passed hands-on externship; fully online courses are not accepted.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite within the Mesa, Chandler, and Phoenix service area as needed.
