Director of Product, Web Protections (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, CA; New York, NY; Newport Beach, CA; or Frisco, TX. Candidates must currently be within commuting distance of one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: USD $141,680–$232,760 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating priorities for the Web Protections portfolio, including Web Advisor and browser-based protection experiences.
• Define how the hirify.global app and browser extensions work together across product state, signals, data, and user experience.
• Partner with Design, Content, Research, Engineering, Threat Research, and Data Science to turn complex web risks into clear, non-intrusive consumer experiences.
• Guide strategy across Chromium, WebExtensions APIs, Safari, Firefox, web protocols, content filtering, and privacy policy changes.
• Develop protections against emerging AI-driven web threats, including prompt injection, malicious autonomous agents, data scraping, and automated scams.
• Evaluate strategic partnerships and communicate product strategies, trade-offs, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership responsibility in consumer technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, browser-based products, or related platforms.
• Deep knowledge of web technologies, browser ecosystems, extension platforms, web protocols, privacy frameworks, and online security trends.
• Experience defining and executing product vision and roadmaps for large-scale products with measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Experience translating technical capabilities, security risks, and research innovations into intuitive, customer-centric experiences.
• Proven people leadership experience building and developing high-performing product teams.
• Strong understanding and practical use of AI technologies, data analytics, experimentation, customer insights, and business metrics.
