Contract Program Manager, CTG Task Order (Government Contracting/Air Force): Leading execution, financial performance, staffing, compliance, and customer satisfaction for a major Department of Defense program supporting approximately 300 employees with an accent on P&L management, contract administration, and operational leadership. Focus on managing large-scale programs, FAR/DFARS compliance, distributed teams, subcontractors, risk, cost, schedule, and customer relationships.

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; travel required more than 10%.

Salary: $163,000–$216,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead overall execution of a major DoD business-unit program supporting approximately 300 full-time employees.
  • Own program P&L performance, financial planning, forecasting, resource allocation, staffing, quality, schedule, and profitability.
  • Manage customer and prime contractor relationships while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, FAR/DFARS, security requirements, and company policies.
  • Lead program reviews, reporting, risk management, corrective actions, audits, and program documentation.
  • Coordinate workforce development, performance management, succession planning, business development, capture, recompete, and proposal activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of government contracting experience with Air Force, DoD, or similar federal customers.
  • 5+ years leading programs, portfolios, or P&L operations, including programs valued at $15M–$50M or more.
  • Experience leading large distributed teams, preferably 75+ personnel, and managing staffing, subcontractors, risk, cost, schedule, and customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types including CPFF, CPIF, FFP, and T&M.
  • U.S. citizenship required; active Secret or Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree.
  • Prior Air Force program leadership experience.
  • PMP, PgMP, or DAWIA certification.
  • Capture and proposal leadership, CPARS, award-fee, quality assurance, and subcontract management experience.
  • Experience standing up new programs and leading organizational change.
