Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior engineers and management on application architecture and design.
• Develop efficient and secure Java-based applications in an agile software environment.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate cloud services.
• Peer-review code, document solutions, and write unit tests.
• Work with infrastructure, security, and quality assurance teams to improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with Java-based applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Web, Spring Data Repository, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud Stream.
• Experience with Hibernate or iBATIS, messaging systems, cloud deployments, and service integrations.
• Experience designing relational and NoSQL data models and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with JUnit, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Agile methodologies, and n-tier systems.

Nice to have

• RESTful web service expertise.
• Experience with Apache, Tomcat, or similar application server platforms.
• Experience writing SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with DB2, MySQL, MariaDB, or similar SQL databases.
