COMSEC Logistics Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid at the customer location in Fort Meade, Maryland, with customer-approved telework two days per week at the discretion of hirify.global Solutions and the customer. Work schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Occasional local travel within a 50-mile radius may be required.

What you will do

• Serve as the central customer point of contact for COMSEC Authority work orders, projects, and activities.
• Manage COMSEC key ordering, distribution, deployment, tracking, and inventory.
• Respond to equipment and key-related questions and coordinate communication across customers, users, technical teams, vendors, and network operations centers.
• Maintain and report weekly and monthly metrics, database entries, templates, and operational reports.
• Track and troubleshoot key-order requests and prepare briefings and presentations.
• Support the COMSEC Controlling Authority function and maintain the Cryptographic Key Management Support Plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree plus at least five years of warehouse management and logistics experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least seven years of COMSEC logistics and analysis experience.
• Experience in integrated COMSEC logistics support, including key ordering and management, provisioning, planning, requirements analysis, or related automated information systems.
• Experience working in a Department of Defense customer environment and integrating with a government multi-contractor team.
• Active Top Secret U.S. Government clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to maintain the Top Secret clearance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting customer-directed operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS), COMSEC supply and inventory operations, or military supply career fields.
• Familiarity with COMSEC network equipment, NSA keying requirements, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Access.
• Direct customer support, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CompTIA Network+ certification and familiarity with national and DoD COMSEC doctrine.
