Logistics Specialist II (Straight Flight) (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment, with travel as needed.

What you will do

• Prepare and document logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.
• Manage shipping and routing while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain and analyze records for equipment, components, repair parts, and technical manuals.
• Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support timely material delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Logistics Specialist I employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and global logistics regulations, including import/export requirements.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills, inventory and supply chain knowledge, and experience with inventory databases.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, work on foot for most of the shift, and work in a loud environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with logistics software and tools, including AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.
• HazMat training or certification and forklift experience.
• Experience with FedEx, DHL, UPS, or other shipping databases.
• Commercial Driver’s License, clean driving record, shelf-life knowledge, or aerospace, defense, Department of Defense, or military experience.
