What you will do

• Manage Release Engineering Services across release DevOps engineering, release planning and governance, and release and scope management.
• Lead Release Engineers and Release Train Engineers across technology stacks and product lines.
• Govern CI/CD architecture, branching strategies, deployment toolchains, and production deployments across test, UAT, staging, and production environments.
• Own release scope baselining, scope-lock checkpoints, formal change control, requirements traceability, and scope health reporting.
• Embed DevSecOps controls, including vulnerability scanning, SBOMs, image signing, secrets management, and audit trails, in CI/CD and deployment workflows.
• Lead release readiness decisions, CAB processes, retrospectives, and executive reporting using DORA, flow, scope stability, and ITSM change metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Release Management.
• At least 2 years of people management or technical leadership experience spanning CI/CD ownership, ITSM change governance, and release scope management.
• Technical depth with GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps; DevSecOps and NERC CIP or equivalent compliance controls; and ServiceNow Change Management.
• Experience managing Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, including DORA metrics programs and CAB processes.
• Experience with formal scope baselining, PMI Scope Management practices, SAFe PI scope-lock enforcement, change control, and requirements traceability.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• TIL Foundation v4 or higher.
• SAFe Program Consultant, Release Train Engineer, PMP, or PgMP certification.
