Senior Staff Engineer (.NET)

Location: Remote, United States. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Salary: $195,000–$260,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide technical and thought leadership across the Technology enterprise.
• Collaborate with product managers, customers, and engineering teams to solve complex technical problems.
• Develop and execute software development strategies for .NET and related technology domains.
• Build and guide architecture and design for new and existing systems, ensuring solution quality, usability, and performance.
• Use programming languages, databases, and Azure tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, influence executives, improve technical practices, and support planning, cost forecasting, and resource requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation.
• 10 years of experience with software development within the .NET framework.
• 7 years of experience building architectures and designing new and existing systems.
• 5 years of experience with DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, Azure DevOps operational frameworks, and cloud engineering.
• Experience with Azure Network, open-source frameworks or .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express, plus 3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
