Platform Engineer, Azure / DevOps (Azure)

Location: Hybrid role located in Richmond, Virginia, United States

Salary: $77,800–$117,000 national range; $97,300–$146,000 high-cost range including New York. Eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Administer and configure Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Confluent Cloud, data integration, and data warehousing components.
• Design, implement, and support cloud and on-premise solutions across Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Develop repeatable infrastructure-as-code automation with Terraform and support DevSecOps tools, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Maintain secure, highly available, scalable Azure infrastructure and optimize system resources, query performance, data storage, and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot outages and technical performance issues, document configurations and procedures, and report on system usage and performance.
• Partner with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams while sharing Azure implementation best practices.

Requirements

• Must work in a hybrid arrangement in Richmond, Virginia.
• In-depth Azure expertise, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Confluent Cloud, Delta Lakes, and storage access.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, infrastructure-as-code, and Terraform.
• Experience with DevSecOps paradigms, CI/CD, automated deployments, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• At least 2 years of experience in architecture and/or cloud-native roles, preferably in a highly regulated enterprise environment.
• This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
