What you will do
- Provide technical guidance, escalation support, and field oversight for HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
- Drive safety, quality, operational performance, and service delivery standards through QOS visits, feedback, training, and documented procedures.
- Coordinate technician scheduling, on-call coverage, timecards, evaluations, invoices, bids, proposals, and follow-up activities.
- Work with the electrical construction group to bid, quote, assign manpower, and deliver mechanical and HVAC construction projects.
- Monitor construction activities, review engineering drawings, track progress, and report project issues and inconsistencies.
- Identify service deficiencies, cost-reduction opportunities, process improvements, and regional business development opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of HVAC service and repair experience.
- State-issued refrigeration license, EPA certification, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and DOT Medical Certificate.
- Experience working in data centers and telecommunications environments.
- Strong HVAC installation, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and wiring diagram interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently, travel extensively, respond to field support calls 24/7, and work nights for emergency repairs and system testing.
- Ability to use a laptop or tablet for service tickets and correspondence, plus Microsoft Word and Excel.

- HVAC trade school degree.
