Production Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Implement production safety procedures and maintain compliance with EHS requirements and local regulations.
• Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor output, yield, OEE, and other production metrics to maintain stable operations.
• Provide technical support to operators and troubleshoot daily production, process, and equipment issues.
• Analyze abnormalities, identify root causes, optimize process parameters, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production, process engineering, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment troubleshooting, EHS requirements, and manufacturing safety management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Experience with process improvement and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficient English for daily written and verbal work communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in food, chemical, or flavor and fragrance manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SAP or other production and ERP systems.
