Senior Specialist - Global SOX

Location: Remote work in the Philippines; based in Bonifacio. Travel may include up to 15% domestic or international travel.

What you will do

• Execute SOX walkthroughs and testing according to the annual SOX calendar.
• Understand end-to-end business processes and perform walkthroughs and control design assessments.
• Conduct and document process flows, control risks, and test matrices within the ICFR framework.
• Identify control design and operational deficiencies and communicate findings to the Global SOX Process Lead.
• Monitor remediation plans and review evidence to assess effectiveness.
• Partner with process owners and the Global SOX Process Lead to update test plans for business, system, configuration, and process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of SOX compliance experience in a multinational environment or public accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, risk and controls standards, and business process best practices.
• Strong project management, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA, CA, CISA, and/or CIA certification.
• Big Four integrated-audit experience.
• Experience managing project work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing and executing project plans and engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
