Manager, IFRS Accounting

Location: Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week at the St. Louis Corporate Office in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. Candidates must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship.

Salary: $101,500–$131,000 target base salary per year, with compensation based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s IFRS implementation project and oversee ongoing IFRS reporting initiatives.
• Partner with external consultants and stakeholders across hirify.global, RSL, DFG, and Tokio Marine to deliver project milestones and reporting requirements.
• Research and interpret international accounting standards, document conclusions, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and forecasting teams to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate financial system support for evolving IFRS requirements and drive organizational readiness through training.
• Manage team workload, coaching, development, and cross-functional communication while keeping leadership informed of project status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience leading complex accounting or financial reporting projects.
• Experience researching and interpreting accounting guidance and documenting conclusions.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments and external partners.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Experience implementing new accounting standards or large-scale financial reporting initiatives.
• Experience developing accounting processes and internal controls related to financial reporting.
