Financial Reporting and Compliance Senior Analyst

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid and flexible, with office attendance required as needed for document processing, administrative requirements, and engagement with Philippine government offices.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and manage APAC month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting deliverables.
• Perform account reconciliations, variance and flux analysis, and explain significant financial movements to management and business partners.
• Coordinate business licenses, permits, registrations, statutory submissions, regulatory filings, and compliance calendars across APAC.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, US GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with controllership, FP&A, treasury, tax, legal, local finance teams, auditors, and consultants to resolve reporting and compliance issues.
• Lead process improvements, standardization, automation, system implementations, and documentation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting compliance, controllership, audit support, internal controls, or shared services finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and GAAP financial reporting, accounting standards, monthly close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience with APAC government compliance processes, SOX, internal controls, financial audits, external audit support, and risk management.
• Experience with financial software, accounting systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
• Ability and willingness to attend the Manila office as needed and engage in person with Philippine government offices.
