Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines; hybrid work with office attendance required twice per week

What you will do
- Lead accounting operations for US entities in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, reconciliations, reporting packages, consolidation, and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable, vendor management, billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, project accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, and bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax requirements, including corporate tax filings, 1099s, 1042s, and related Philippines VAT filings.
- Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, resolve audit queries, and strengthen internal controls.
- Lead and develop the accounting team while supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active US CPA or Philippines CPA license required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3–5 years managing and leading accounting teams.
- Strong experience handling accounting operations for US-based entities and knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with US corporate tax compliance, reporting, audits, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or CMA certification.
- Experience in multinational or global organizations.
- Experience with Xero or Microsoft Dynamics.
