Business Technology Specialist (ERP/Tax)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite five days a week

Salary: $120,600–$180,900 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the functional lead for invoicing, tax, and finance-related enterprise applications.
• Define requirements and functional specifications for ERP, tax, invoicing, procurement, customer, and financial reporting systems.
• Optimize end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash processes through automation, touchless processing, and improved transaction accuracy.
• Support indirect tax, VAT, GST, sales tax, electronic reporting, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead requirements workshops, solution design, business testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
• Support global rollouts, change management, training, and hypercare while coordinating with development teams, vendors, tax providers, and system integrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, finance systems, invoicing, tax, or business analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with Infor ERP LN 10.7.
• Experience implementing or supporting electronic invoicing solutions and strong knowledge of Invoice-to-Cash processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements, translating them into system solutions, and leading cross-functional, globally dispersed project teams.
• Work onsite in San Diego five days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with global electronic invoicing platforms and service providers.
• Experience with Infor Cloud Solutions, including ION and LSP, Vertex, OneStream, EDI, and customer integration platforms.
• Knowledge of international invoicing and indirect tax regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multinational organizations.
• SAFe, Agile, or equivalent methodology experience.
