Sr. Specialist, IT Business Analysis (SAP Sales & Distribution)

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship may be required for positions requiring security clearance.

Salary: $96,000–$178,000 for California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, Greater D.C., Denver, and NYC areas; $84,000–$156,000 for Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland, Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia.

What you will do

• Oversee implementation and operational support of SAP Sales and Distribution functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and managed service personnel to design, configure, test, and improve SAP SD solutions.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and other implementation documentation.
• Support large SAP implementation projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts.
• Prioritize issue resolution and enhancements, troubleshoot complex production issues, and support system stability and performance.
• Build customer relationships and align ERP solutions with changing business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience using and configuring ERP systems, with a proven record of successful implementations and support.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of Sales and Distribution, project management principles, and SAP integration points with MM, FICO, and PMMO.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation.
• Experience with SAP Preferred partner Cognitus and its Billing and Contract Flowdown solution.
• Exposure to waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
