Associate Principal - Corporate Strategy (Life Sciences)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $156,000–$234,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead project teams and serve as the primary client contact for consulting engagements.
• Develop strategically sound, actionable recommendations addressing client business questions.
• Create and present research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports.
• Identify follow-on business opportunities and support proposals, methodologies, timelines, and budgets.
• Train and mentor junior staff while coordinating project staffing and reporting responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, health sciences, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of consulting experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Biopharma due-diligence experience with strong quantitative, modeling, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of finance and experience managing corporate strategy projects.
• Strong executive presence, including experience running C-suite workshops.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, plus strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• MBA with a life sciences focus or another advanced degree.
• Broader healthcare due-diligence experience.
• Familiarity with secondary research databases.
