Facilities Technician I (Property Maintenance)

What you will do

• Respond to maintenance and repair requests, document completed work, and log service activity in Entrata and CMMS systems.
• Diagnose and complete minor and routine repairs involving appliances, carpentry, plumbing, fixtures, painting, electrical systems, lighting, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on property equipment and operating systems, including filters, coils, condensers, lubrication, alarms, utilities, and fire-safety equipment.
• Inspect apartments, interior common areas, exteriors, workshops, storage areas, and utility rooms to maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers, maintain grounds and pools, pressure wash property areas, assist with snow removal, and support resident functions.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Supervisor, vendors, contractors, residents, and management; provide after-hours emergency support and on-call coverage.

Requirements

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and 1–3 years of full-time general maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination.
• EPA 608 Type I certification and Certified Pool Operator certification, or willingness to obtain CPO certification within six months.
• Valid driver’s license and knowledge of key management, security, safety, and property maintenance systems.
• Ability to use or learn Entrata, CMMS, Building Automation, and Digital Control systems.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.; willingness to travel when required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Flexible availability is required for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
