Senior Project Manager (DERMS)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; candidates near other hirify.global offices may also be considered. Travel to client locations may be required up to 50% of the time.

Salary: USD $155,001.60–$185,000 per year, plus potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Own scope, cost, schedule, risks, budgets, and resource forecasts for DERMS projects.
• Lead delivery teams and coordinate business and technical resources, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and manage client and supplier Statements of Work and clarify project responsibilities.
• Manage workflows from initial requests through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, production turnover, and client migration.
• Track milestones, project performance, risks, mitigation plans, and resource utilization.
• Represent hirify.global with clients, lead core team meetings, and present progress to steering committees and senior executives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of project management experience in the utility domain.
• Experience implementing large SCADA, EMS, ADMS, or DERMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise operational technology projects in electric or gas utility environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, financial management, organization, decision-making, and presentations.
• Ability to communicate with C-level executives and technical teams and work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed to client locations.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Familiarity with EMS, SCADA, ADMS, and OMS systems from OSII, GE, ABB, Schneider, or Siemens.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
