Lead Engineer, Cyber Security (AI)

Salary: $146,625–$198,375 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including identity governance, network segmentation, firewalls, WAFs, and private endpoints.
• Deploy encryption, key management, secrets rotation, security baselines, and hardening standards for cloud services, containers, databases, storage, and endpoints.
• Lead security monitoring, detection engineering, threat hunting, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response using tools such as Splunk, SentinelOne, Snyk, and InsightVM.
• Define application, API, authentication, authorization, data classification, and DLP controls for regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, and client data.
• Support compliance, risk, audit evidence, third-party security assessments, and control mapping for SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Advise on AI/ML security, generative AI guardrails, model monitoring, adversarial inputs, and unauthorized use while mentoring security engineers and creating runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure security, including 4+ years designing and implementing Azure and AWS security solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in incident response, threat detection, or SOC operations.
• Experience with identity and access management, encryption, network security, secure SDLC, Zero Trust, container security, serverless security, and Windows/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards including Azure Security Benchmark, AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar, CIS Controls, and NIST 800-53.
• Experience with AI/ML security, responsible AI governance or model monitoring, scripting, EDR platforms, phishing security, and incident response playbooks.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CEH, GSEC, ECSA, or Security+ certification.
