Senior Corporate Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote or in-office in the United States

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year in target base compensation at commencement of employment.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable security controls across corporate systems, endpoints, SaaS platforms, cloud-connected services, and internal operations.
• Improve identity and access management, including MFA, conditional access, privileged access, device trust, least privilege, and lifecycle automation.
• Engineer endpoint, SaaS, cloud, detection, response, and security operations capabilities across Mac, Windows, mobile, BYOD, AWS, and enterprise platforms.
• Secure the use of AI tools, LLM platforms, AI agents, and AI-enabled workflows through access governance, data protection, logging, and usage monitoring.
• Protect PHI, employee data, clinician data, and sensitive company information through DLP controls, automation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Translate compliance and risk requirements into technical controls supporting HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, audit readiness, and continuous control monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, corporate security, infrastructure security, enterprise security, IT security, cloud security, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating security controls for identity, endpoints, SaaS platforms, collaboration tools, cloud-connected services, and internal systems.
• Strong knowledge of MFA, conditional access, privileged access, lifecycle automation, service accounts, least privilege, Zero Trust, device trust, and secure system design.
• Experience with MDR, EDR, SIEM, cloud security, endpoint management, vulnerability management, or DLP tools, including platforms such as Expel MDR, SentinelOne, Wiz, CloudTrail, or Sumo Logic.
• Experience with security automation and scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Workato, Terraform, REST APIs, webhooks, or JSON.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with IT, Security, Engineering, Compliance, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Staff Engineer or senior technical leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Experience securing enterprise AI tools, LLM platforms, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with DLP, CASB, SSPM, browser security, SaaS posture management, or data discovery tools.
• Experience securing Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Microsoft Intune, GitHub, Slack, Atlassian, AWS, or similar platforms.
