Salary: $94,700–$124,900 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

  • Perform advanced chemical analysis of process, product, environmental, and special-investigation samples.
  • Support reliability investigations, contamination studies, product quality events, and root-cause analyses.
  • Identify unknown materials, contaminants, and process deposits using appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Develop, validate, improve, and document analytical methods and support new instrumentation.
  • Contribute to laboratory standardization, technical standards, guidance documents, and training materials across the CF network.
  • Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is required; an MS, PhD, or equivalent in Chemistry, Physical Science, or a related field is highly desired.
  • Three to five years of experience in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment supporting operations and troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Advanced experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instrumentation such as GC, HPLC, IC, FTIR, ICP, and spectroscopy systems.
  • Strong technical writing, presentation, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Travel of up to 10% is expected.
