PLS Scientist III - Analytical Chemistry

Location: Oakdale, Minnesota, United States; onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 per year

Provides contract CMC development, CTM manufacturing, regulatory compliance, consulting, and facility support services for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and gene therapy programs.

What you will do

• Perform complex analytical testing using HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, UV/Vis, FTIR, spectroscopy, dissolution, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Lead analytical method development, optimization, and validation activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation, and prepare technical reports.
• Document procedures, results, deviations, and investigations in laboratory notebooks, LIMS, and other systems.
• Lead OOS and OOT investigations, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Author, review, and revise test methods, validation protocols, SOPs, and related technical documents while collaborating with project and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in a GxP-regulated laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-MS, and LC-MS.
• Strong application of GLP, GMP, or GxP guidance in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in data analysis, chromatographic interpretation, troubleshooting, technical writing, LIMS, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in laboratory and office settings and handle exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and related controlled-laboratory conditions.
