QC Analytical Chemist (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Onsite in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, United States; Monday–Friday, 1st shift.

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Test raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and stability samples using approved analytical methods and USP procedures.
• Perform dissolution, assay, content and blend uniformity, particle-size distribution, and related testing.
• Operate HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, IR, atomic absorption, TLC, titration, and dissolution instruments.
• Analyze and interpret test results in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Assist with troubleshooting instrumentation and analytical preparations.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, GMPs, and Good Documentation Practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field.
• 0–7 years of laboratory experience in a cGMP-related industry, depending on level.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as UV, IR, HPLC, GC, or dissolution instruments.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic laboratory testing.
• For QC Analytical Chemist I, experience performing and interpreting related-compounds and impurity analyses is required.
• Availability for onsite laboratory work in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, Monday–Friday on the 1st shift.
