What you will do
- Assist with enterprise network design, implementation, administration, and ongoing support across physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents involving datacenter, distribution, wireless, security, virtualization, and WAN technologies.
- Evaluate technical solutions, develop corrective and preventive measures, and document configurations, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate complex technical projects with technical staff, business stakeholders, vendors, clients, and distributed teams.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to peers and IT teams.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule and prioritize work against project and incident SLA requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of network engineering experience; typically a bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience without a degree.
- Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ASA, and Cisco enterprise wireless technologies.
- Experience with F5 networking, Citrix NetScaler, Cisco UCS, enterprise infrastructure, and network technologies including trunking, name resolution, virtualization, WAN communications, and QoS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, customer service, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to design complex technology solutions, create transition plans, research emerging technologies, and prioritize work in a high-pressure environment.
- Healthcare knowledge, including data privacy practices and laws, is required.
Nice to have
- CCNA or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Cisco ISE.
