Cybersecurity Engineer - OT

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible. Up to 10% travel to manufacturing and distribution sites may be required.

What you will do

• Support daily operations, maintenance, and data quality for OT security technologies, primarily the OT asset visibility and detection platform.
• Execute Run & Maintain activities including device classification, asset reconciliation, exception handling, and rule tuning.
• Maintain OT asset inventory, validate data, improve visibility metrics, and support onboarding of new sites.
• Troubleshoot discovery configurations, integrations, connectivity issues, and platform health problems, escalating when needed.
• Monitor OT security alerts, identify anomalies, and support investigation and escalation processes.
• Develop operational procedures and playbooks while collaborating with OT Administrators, Network Engineering, Security Engineering, and site teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or a related technical discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of IP addressing, subnets, routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
• Understanding of firewall rules and traffic flow between systems, particularly IT and OT separation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to execute repeatable operational processes consistently.
• Effective communication and collaboration across IT, OT, and security teams, with willingness to learn OT-specific technologies.

Nice to have

• Exposure to OT/ICS environments or manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with asset discovery, monitoring, or security tools such as Armis, Claroty, Dragos, or Nozomi.
• Experience supporting operational platforms or infrastructure tools.
