Senior Microsoft Platforms Engineer (SharePoint/Power Platform)

Location: Tampa, Florida — hybrid, combining remote and in-person work; support for a U.S. Combatant Command headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base.

What you will do

• Engineer, configure, and sustain SharePoint on-premises and Online, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments.
• Build authoritative knowledge systems aligned with enterprise workflows, decision cycles, content governance, and records management standards.
• Establish reusable Power Platform and Microsoft 365 patterns, environment strategies, connector approvals, and data loss prevention policies.
• Improve enterprise search, indexing, navigation, secure access, dashboards, task trackers, timelines, and workflow views.
• Lead administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, change control, and compliance validation.
• Produce runbooks and governance documentation, deliver training, coordinate with Command stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility based on an SSBI are mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least eight years of experience engineering and administering Microsoft collaboration platforms, including five years across SharePoint farms and SharePoint Online.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, environment strategy, connector governance, and data loss prevention.
• Experience implementing role- or attribute-based access control and zero-trust principles in an enterprise tenant.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain it before privileged access.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Combatant Command, SOF, or Intelligence Community organizations across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and SCI-level networks.
• Microsoft role-based certifications, including MS-102, PL-600, or AZ-104.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Content Manager, ERMS, DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation, SharePoint migrations, Copilot governance, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, or Agile/Scrum delivery.
