Application Developer Analyst (.NET)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule

hirify.global is a large energy infrastructure company operating natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, and carbon dioxide pipelines and storage terminals across North America.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, document, and support custom Windows and web applications for shared-services functions such as Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, test applications, and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with internal teams and third-party vendors, participate in project meetings, contribute to project plans, and provide status updates.
• Develop SQL solutions, reports, data imports and exports, data manipulations, software upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Design and enhance budget, forecast, variance, risk, and operational reports using reporting and data-visualization tools.
• Provide documentation and routine on-call application support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; IT-related experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting and developing applications and related systems.
• Experience with .NET programming languages, including VB.NET, C#, and VBA.
• Strong SQL Server database design, management, and data import/export skills; Oracle and MSSQL development experience preferred.
• Experience with third-party applications, Windows and web application development, SSRS or Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, teamwork, multitasking, deadline management, and quality-focused delivery skills.

Nice to have

• 5 or more years of application development and support experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Business management experience involving the review and communication of financial information from multiple sources.
