Genworth Actuarial Development Program Analyst – 2027 (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid in Richmond, Virginia. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates outside the area.

Salary: $70,500–$92,500 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Complete 18–30 month rotational assignments across product lines and business functions.
• Build actuarial skills, business acumen, leadership capabilities, and a professional network.
• Use advanced Excel techniques and programming to work with large data sets.
• Gain exposure to actuarial software, including GGY AXIS, MG-ALFA, and PolySystems.
• Attend on-site technical and professional development classes and participate in sponsored community service events.

Requirements

• Graduate by Spring 2027 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Have passed at least one Society of Actuaries examination.
• Have a minimum final GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrate mathematical, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Show career aspirations toward attaining a Fellowship designation and participate in academic case study projects.
• Previous internship experience, preferably in insurance, is expected.
