Salary: $62,550–$83,400 per year base pay for applicants in Colorado, Jersey City, and New York City.

What you will do

• Analyze data and apply actuarial techniques to quantify risk, price insurance products, and support loss reserving.
• Assist with actuarial analyses, models, forecasts, and reports supporting business and financial decisions.
• Monitor insurance and financial trends to identify insights and support recommendations.
• Partner with actuaries and teams across Finance, Claims, Operations, Risk Management, and other business areas.
• Communicate actuarial findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build technical and business expertise through the Actuarial Development Program, rotations, and actuarial examinations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree received no later than June 2027; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability to start the program on July 26, 2027.
• Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Completed or progressing toward actuarial examinations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and exposure to Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical and programming tools.
• Interest in pursuing actuarial credentials and evidence of strong academic, extracurricular, or previous work achievement.
